Fox; and the loving mother of Robert, William (Rebecca), Joan Marie (Thomas W. Smith), Barbara (Chris Petersen), Jeffrey (Laura Kelly), Patricia (James F. Quinn), Margaret (Kevin C. Baun), Kathleen (Stephen B. Smith), Carolyn Ann (Jeffrey S. Walton). Grandmother of 31 and great-grandmother of nine. Sister of James (Nancy), Thomas (Joan) and nine deceased siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to any of the following organizations that provided wonderful care to Lucy over the past seven years: The Light of Hearts Villa, 283 Union St., Bedford, 44146; Regina Health Center, 5232 Broadview Rd., Richfield, 44286 or Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma 44134. Pijaczynski Spelling Transition

The Pijzaczynski family name changed many times over the years. In Polish records, Andrew’s surname appeared as Peczynski. He had six children in Poland and five in the United States. After immigrating, his last name varied on documents such as census records, deeds, and death certificates, before his children in the U.S. eventually adopted the name Perchinske. Rumor had it that teachers could not spell the name correctly and eventually his children became Perchinske.
