St. Peter & Paul Church Bundenthal, Germany
The Church of St. Peter and Paul is located in the middle of Bundenthal. It shapes the townscape with its medieval cemetery fortification wall. The wall itself was built from the most common type of rock in the Dahn Valley, sandstone. The church itself sits enthroned on the fortified plateau and creates a great viewing platform over Bundenthal. Unfortunately, more precise dates of construction are not known, but it is popularly said that it was built more than 250 years ago.
